Broadcom's NetXtreme technology is powering Dell's Ethernet I/O in its PowerEdge servers, allowing for maximized performance, efficiency and scalability. Broadcom's Ethernet adapters combine media access controllers (MACs) and physical layer transceivers (PHYs) for integrated one-chip solutions. Broadcom's NetXtreme technology allows for increased bandwith for virtualized environments.
Broadcom NetXtreme Quad Port Ethernet PCIe Card enables convergence of all the networking communications for data network (LAN) and block storage (iSCSI) with lower CPU utilization for Dell PowerEdge rack and tower servers. As part of the Broadcom NetXtreme II family of products found across the Dell PowerEdge server portfolio, this enables data centers to simplify IT networking by converging multiple functions over one wire when deploying Dell PowerEdge servers.
